Eight major rivers traverse the park: Limpopo, Luvuvhu, Shingwedzi, Letaba, Olifants, Sabie and the Crocodile River. Although this park is open throughout the year, certain accommodation facilities, such as the guest cottages, are only available at certain times of the year. Family cottages (2 rooms with 2 beds each, bathroom, toilet, kitchenette with gas stove, fridge, eating and cooking utensils), huts with shower and toilet, ordinary huts (all equipped with air conditioners), and camping sites are also available. One can go for game viewing on tarred and gravel roads, as well as wilderness trails. General facilities include swimming pools (Pretoriuskop and Shingwedzy Rest Camps), night drives, shops, restaurants, picnic sites with hot water for tea or coffee and nightly film shows (weather permitting).
