Digital Storytelling (Advanced level)

Students have increasing access to digital tools that provide new opportunities for demonstrating learning. Storytelling is an ancient tradition that is now enhanced by digital tools. Writing digital stories ignites a love of learning and creates new and powerful ways for students to teaching others.

Microsoft have several tools that can be used to support digital storytelling: AutoCollage, Photosynth, PowerPoint and Windows Live MovieMaker.

By the end of this scenario you will be able to:

- Understand the value of storytelling and explore storytelling ideas
- Use AutoCollage to create a collage of pictures
- Use Photosynth to create a virtual tour
- Use PowerPoint to edit and save pictures
- Use MovieMaker to tell a story
