Introduction In this six session workshop, you will gain
insights and practice strategies to help you become a more innovative
teacher. The purpose of this workshop is to prepare you for
participation in the Innovative Teachers Awards .
Each session takes about 60-90 minutes to complete, depending on whether you work on your own or with a Thinking Partner. A Thinking Partner is a colleague with whom you can work throughout this course. You can work with another teacher at your own school, a nearby school, or communicate with a fellow teacher online. The idea is to have at least one peer with whom you share ideas, discuss activities, and seek input on your own project. Ideally, a team of teachers at a school would work through these course materials together.
