INTRODUCTION
  •           Many social problems involve the concept of deviance in relation to a society’s system of social control. These problems overlap significantly because the social and cultural factors that contribute to deviant or antisocial behaviors are complex and deeply interrelated. Juvenile delinquency and street crime, for example, may be linked to youth gang and organized crime activities; the availability of guns, alcohol, and drugs; poverty, unemployment, and lack of economic opportunity; racism; family instability and domestic violence; school failure; and the influence of mass media. Issues within the criminal justice system itself add to the social problems of crime, violence, and drugs.

"What are social problems?"

  • What are social problems?
  • Social problems are alleged situation that is incompatible with the values of a significant number of people who agree that action is needed to alter the situation.
  • “Social problems are problems we encounter within our society like pollution, population, disposal of garbage and others, that your or our country is facing”.
8
FINDINGS/RESULTS
  • According to Lao PDR, their social problem is having narrow roads which cause accidents because 70% of them uses motor bikes and the solution which  answers their problem are limiting speed, respecting traffic rules and wearing helmet. Police must be a good model and whoever against the law will pay the penalty.

  • On the other hand, some countries says that they are facing lots of social problems, like  Thailand. They cant solve all the problems but only few problems they try to solve. Drug addiction is a big problem, especially in teenagers. We all know that improper taking of drugs are not good to our health, it can cause damage in our mind. For them, in solving this kind of problem, is having some clubs in every school that would develop the talents like singing, dancing and etc... So that they wont be tempted to use drugs.

"As for the Vietnamese,"
  • As for the Vietnamese, the more the world develops, the more  social problems emerge and to solve this problem is to know its cause like population. Moreover, population is a big problem, because people believe in the misconceptions of beliefs and traditions, so they keep on multiplying without an awareness that they becoming overpopulated country. To solve this problem people must be warned about its  disadvantages to the society, teach them the ways for family planning and help them to understand how hard it is for the part of everyone to develop a country which is over populated.

"In the other side,"
  • In the other side, Malaysia thinks that implementing different programs can help solve their problem especially about drugs. They implement programs like the YOUTH FRIENDS PROGRAM, NATIONAL SERVICE PROGRAM AND SABAHAT PEMADAM CLUB. According to them, the help of the members of these different program can promote their vision “2015 Malaysia Free of Drugs”.

  • As for the people in Myanmar, they said that social problems can be government related or just people related. In solving their social problem, government will provide and help  its citizens. Others says that small social problems also take place, it is because of misunderstanding. Most of them thought that the way to solve the problem is by understanding each other and not by getting angry.
11
CONCLUSION
  • Our group agrees that having social problems is not easy because we must exert time and effort in order to solve a particular problem. In solving social problems, we need the support of  the government and cooperation of the people. For us, the other ways of solving these problems are: First thing you do is to find the cause of the problem, then make meaningful plans and perform actions to solve  the problem; then, choose the best solution and finally, ask support from the others.
  • Therefore, different countries are facing different problems and each of them has their own solution according to the problems they are facing. They greatly believed that social problems can be solved. So, let us join our forces for the success of oneself and most of all, for the victory of our world.
