Looking at Projects - continued
Step 2: Viewing Project Portfolios
You will look at concrete examples of units of work that incorporate projects in
different ways.
- Go to the Project Portfolios section in the Resources section of the CD.
- Review projects based on grade / phase or subject / learning area.
- As you review the Project Portfolios, consider where and how they address the various elements of the Project Characteristics Checklist.
- Take notes on any ideas you could adapt for use in your own Project Portfolio.
- Discuss the following questions briefly in a small group:
- In what ways did the projects support larger units?
- How could you use these project ideas to enhance your own units of work
Note: The Intel® Designing Effective Projects resource on the CD contains more information about effective projects.
