During the October school break, we provided professional development to 32 interns who are based in Tshwane West schools. The intention of this session was to equip interns with some strategies and resources for supporting teachers and learners to make better use of digital tools. During the October school break, 32 of the 42 Tshwane West interns attended a two day workshop. South African Computer Programming Olympiad winners recognised

On Monday 1 October 2018, ten top performing high school learners were recognised for their achievements in the South African Computer Programming Olympiad at a gala dinner held at the Standard Bank Auditorium. Of these learners, the top four programmers recently attended the International Olympiad for Informatics which took place in September in Japan.
