In the western part of Zimbabwe, spreading across an area of 14,650 square kilometers, lies one of the finest conservation areas in Africa. It features a wide variety and high density of wildlife. Some of the animals present are the elephant, lion, buffalo, black and white rhino, sable, and roan and other antelopes. Visitors can enter the park throughout the year and stay at the Main and Sinamatella Camps. Cottages, chalets and camping sites are available. Moreover, there are picnic sites, shops selling supplies and a restaurant. To view the wildlife, visitors can go on drives or walks or use the hides. Precautions against malaria are needed.
