Hlengiwe, a Grade 10 Physical Science teacher, has taught the section on sound in week 8 of the year. She has used the various 2Enable resources in a number of ways but has a nagging doubt about every learner having properly understood the concepts. This is completely natural of course - every teacher wants to know how effectively they have taught a topic.

She has used the resources in 2Enable under Week 8: PHYSICS - WAVES, SOUND & LIGHT - Sound Waves - Properties in Different Media to augment her teaching.

Hlengiwe assigns homework to the learners, asking them to access the questionnaire online and to complete the assessment.

The following day she will monitor the achievement of the learners in the assessment and diagnose which questions have been poorly answered. Based on this diagnosis she will decide whether to reteach any of the components of the topic.
