Mr Dlamini, a Grade 8 Natural Science teacher, is teaching the section on the Particle Model of Matter in week 4 of the year. He knows that many learners are full of energy and enthusiastic, and also easily bored. He constantly has to think of ways of providing deeper learning experiences for these learners.

He looks on the 2Enable resources list and sees a great idea for getting the learners actively involved in the lesson, the video called The 7DC Particle Model of Matter.

After teaching the basic concepts of the Particle Model of Matter to the class Mr Dlamini challenges them to work collaboratively as a class in order to create a video that effectively demonstrates the basic principles of the particle model during liquid state, evaporation and condensation.
