The purpose of this programme is to introduce users with some basic ICT skills confidence to a simple project template for implementing ICT-integrated projects in the classroom. WebQuests were originally developed by Bernie Dodge and Tom March, but today teachers throughout the world are designing these short projects and sharing them on the Web. This course is designed to help teachers understand the nature of the WebQuest, find examples online, evaluate them, analyse them and adapt them for their own use. Thirty two example WebQuests relating to the South African curriculum are available on the CD. Training typically takes 2 days and it is advisable to offer all four workshops. The workshops can be scheduled to take place on separate days over a period of time. |
