It features the free PowerPoint 2013 add-in called ‘Office Mix’ Office Mix is a free add-in for PowerPoint 2013. It is a powerful tool that makes authoring and sharing of online lessons / presentations simple. It allows you to make them interactive with quizzes and labs. It allows you to export lessons as mp4 videos. During the webinar Megan and Victor will be skyping with a teacher who uses Office Mix in his classroom.

Topic:Flip your classroom with Office Mix
Explanation: It’s end of the year and exam time in most countries. This means teachers
increasingly spend less and less contact time with students. However it’s still
a priority for most teachers to make sure that students keep track of the
learning goals and they can revise the most important content. With Office Mix,
which is an add-on to PowerPoint, teachers can send students PowerPoint which is
engaging, and also includes polls and interactive apps, voice, video and digital
ink. In this way teachers can support students with their learning anytime
anywhere, using any device. We are going to Skype a teacher who is using Office
Mix with his students
