The EdTechSummits around South Africa are underway…free to teachers

 There are nine EdTechSummits for teachers talking place in South Africa this month, all free! (Note this is not to be confused with the upcoming EdTechTeam’s Google Summits at Parklands)

TIME
: each Summit starts at 8:00 with tea/ coffee and registration


GMAIL
: we strongly encourage all attendees to register for a gmail account before attending a Summit. Many of the workshops will use Google Apps for Education (GAFE) which are free technology solutions that everyone should know about. You can sign up for an account here: https://mail.google.com/


LUNCH
: will be provided at each Summit – we are using a lunch ticket system this year

DEVICES
: This is a hands-on learning Summit! We will have devices available for attendees to use in all workshops, but if you prefer to bring your own tablet, smartphone, or laptop device to practice with for the mobile based sessions, please ensure you bring it fully charged.

We find that the greatest learning happens when there is a group of several attendees from one school who can share and practice what they learned in Summit workshops throughout the year.
