Here is a message from Google to teachers. The Science fair applications from students all around the world have been narrowed down to 20 global finalists. It’s amazing that we can be invited virtually to the event!

Thank you for supporting your young scientists as they submitted projects to this year’s Google Science Fair! From purifying water with corn cobs to transporting Ebola antibodies through silk, all of the projects submitted this year all tackled problems using inventive and unconventional thinking.

We’re excited to welcome the 20 global finalists to Mountain View for the final events on September 21st! Head to the Google Science Fair website or theSpotlight on a Young Scientist series to get to know the students and check out their projects.

- First, join us live as we tour through the exhibit hall and see the finalists’ projects in action.
- Later in the day, tune in for the Awards Celebration where we’ll celebrate our brilliant finalists and announce some incredible prizes.
