Teaching Environment

The Keys to Innovation Reflection Tool was based on the characteristics listed in the 2006 Innovative Teachers Forum Report (Microsoft, 2006) . This tool was developed to help educators begin a conversation about innovation in their school, as a planning tool, and to track the growth of conditions for innovative practice over time.

Task: Reflection

1. Open the Keys to Innovation Reflection Tool and perform an initial assessment of classroom and school environments, reflecting on your own school. (20 minutes)
   
   
2. Have a brief discussion about the tool with your Thinking Partner or larger group.
   
   
3. Discuss this tool with your school management on your return to school.
