LL9's visit to Indonesia

It was March 12, 2006. We left for, Soekarno-Hatta Int'l (CGK), Jakarta Indonesia from Singapore at 21:00 and reached to Bangkok at 22:20. We stayed in Bangkok for 1 day. The next day, we left for Indonesia at 8:30 and reached there at 12:00. We stayed at Hotel Horison Jakarta. Jakarta , located on the Northwestern coast of Java, is the capital city of Indonesia. At the airport we were warmly welcomed by Wahyu Rahardjo, a language teacher of Indonesia. We are very glad to meet "LL8". We travelled some parts of Jakarta that's worth looking into. For those with an interest in Indonesia history and culture, Jakarta offers finest museum in Asia , colonial architecture, performing arts and rich intellectual life. We enjoyed the visit to Museum Bahari, a maritime museum, Pasar Ikan (fish market) behind Museum Bahari, and Ancol Dreamland, once swampland and now featuring beach-front hotels, golf course, bowling alley, art and craft market, driving, theater and swimming pool. We really like Jakarta . It is fantastic. We went here and there by ships, boats and many more water vehicles. Then we left for Brunei.
