LL9's visit to Phillipines
We departed from Bangkok International Airport by TG 620 at 11:10 am and arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport , Manila , Philippines at 3:25 pm. Janeth Seno, a language teacher of Phillipines, had arranged us to stay at Traders Hotel Manila which is 3 miles far away from the airport. We checked in at 4:45 pm and had a dinner at a restaurant .The next day we want to Chocolate Hills .We started our trip to chocolate hill at 9:00 am. The chocolate hills consist of are no less than 1268 hills (some claim this to be the exact number). They are very uniform in shape and mostly between 30 and 50 metres high. They are covered with grass, which, at the end of the dry season, turns chocolate brown. From this color, the hills derive their name. We went there by bus that we rent it for a day. We asked the driver to bring us to the Chocolate Hills Complex. We decided to stay there one night, but unluckily we had very little choice to stay there. There was only the Chocolate Hills resort. We took photos from the chocolate hill. Views from the chocolate hills were very nice and there was plenty of fresh air. We went around chocolate hill and had a dinner at 6:45 pm. The next morning we went to Hundred Islands . It took 4 hours and about 250 kilometers far away from the chocolate hills. This hundred islands or National Park covers a land area of 1,884 hectares with 123 islands. We took a short rest and later we went for sight-seeing to governor's Island and Quezon Island We said goodbye to "LL4".
