During the October school break, we provided professional development to 32 interns who are based in Tshwane West schools. The intention of this session was to equip interns with some strategies and resources for supporting teachers and learners to make better use of digital tools. Over two days, interns tried their hand at technical trouble shooting, practiced their presentation skills, completed the Hour of Code (and learnt how to facilitate this at their schools) and worked on collaborative documents.
