The purpose of this programme is to introduce education managers in schools and regional offices to some key aspects of ICT leadership.
The course is structured in 3 modules, each containing a number of 2-3 hour workshops. The modules are focused on:
What education managers can do with ICT
What teachers and learners do with ICT
How schools manage ICT
The course is designed to introduce ideas about ICT leadership in order to gain a better understanding of ICT in the school. Education mangers are encouraged to record their thoughts and tentative plans in a course journal.
In its entirety the course could take 4 days, but most of the workshops could also be offered as separate workshops. SchoolNet SA will be happy to discuss customising a course for your needs.
