Internet to word processor integration (Intermediate level)
As a principal you will compile documents for your own professional growth and for staff meetings. You could use Microsoft Word to compile these documents. You may want to quote a passage of text from the Internet. You may also want to include a picture from the Internet. In both cases you should cite the sources of your information.
In a similar way you could transfer information and images from the Internet to Microsoft PowerPoint if you are preparing a presentation.
By the end of this task you could achieve the following outcomes:
- Look for information in the Internet
- Evaluate the content of a website
- Copy and paste information
- Save an image from the Internet
- Cite information sources in a footnote
- Link information from the Internet to a word document.

|3.||Copy and paste information: Copy a small excerpt of text from the Internet to the word processor. See how »|

|5.||Create a hyperlink: You can create a hyperlink to the source website in the footnote, so that the interested reader can click to see the source website. See how »|
