The Google Educator Group (GEG) for Cape Town West Coast is being launched today at Parklands College in Table View from 3-6pm.  Please just arrive if you haven’t yet booked.  Here is a message that I received from the organiser yesterday:

“We’re really excited to have you at our Google Educator Group Launch tomorrow. We can’t wait to share the concept of the community with you. The programme for tomorrow is going to look something like this:

15:00 – Welcome and “What is a GEG and why should you be a part of it?”

15:30 – Google Apps for Education applied in Primary Schools and High Schools

16:00 – Some refreshments (because we know exam times are tough)

16:30 – How to solve real world problems through Education and Technology

17:00 – Create your own projects based on real world problems

17:40 – What’s the next step to get more training from the GEG?

18:00 – Farewell
