It is with deep sadness that we mourn the sudden and tragic passing of Jenny Glennie, a cherished board member of SchoolNet South Africa over the past 18 years.
Jenny was far more than a board member; she was a pillar of our community, a passionate advocate for equitable education, and a wise, steady hand guiding our mission. Her deep commitment to leveraging technology for learning touched countless educators and students across the nation. She believed fiercely in the power of connected, open digital learning to activate opportunities and build futures.
Her insight, warmth, and unwavering dedication were invaluable. Jenny’s contributions helped shape the landscape of educational technology in South Africa, and her legacy is woven into the very fabric of our work.
We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues. We have lost a remarkable leader and a kind-hearted friend. Her light will be sorely missed, but the path she helped illuminate will continue to guide us forward.
