Five schools in Mankweng, Limpopo are to be provided with connectivity and Microsoft Windows 8 devices through the TV White Spaces pilot project. SchoolNet SA has been appointed to provide professional development to teachers from these schools to help ensure that they maximise the benefits that a connected classroom bring to education.

Brescia House School in Bryanston has been selected by Microsoft as one of 80 outstanding mentor schools from around the world and will be represented at the Partners in Learning Global Forum in Barcelona next month. The AlwaysOn-Learning Solution, built using Office 365, has been implemented at Brescia House School to provide a portal for sharing resources, completing administrative tasks and encouraging communication and collaboration within classes.
